What is involved in server room shutdown and startup processes?

1) To kick off the server room shutdown process, shutdown gracefully NAS (network attached storage). 

2) Shutdown gracefully all VMs (virtual machines) and their hosts.

3) Power off network devices such as switches and routers.

4) Power off UPSes (uninterruptible power supply)

5) Turn off power switches.  Disconnect power cables if necessary.

6)  To startup the server room, perform steps 5 to 1.
