1) If your Office 365 mailbox is more than 100GB, IT team may activate in-place archive. This will ensure that the performance and health of the active mailbox is not affected. Email that is more than 1 year old will be moved to an archive mailbox automatically.
2) To search archived email, please locate your archive mailbox in your Outlook application with the label like the one below.
